Cancellation and Substitution Policy

Annual Meeting Cancellation/ Refund Policy

The deadline for refund requests (mailed and emailed) is Monday, October 25.

  • After the above deadline, no refunds of any type, including no-shows, are given.
  • Email requests to sfnregistration@xpressreg.net or mail to:
    SfN 2021 Registration
    c/o Convention Data Services
    7 Technology Park Drive
    Bourne, MA 02532

Provide your full name, the email address associated with the registration, and the confirmation number found on the emailed registration confirmation.

Please note, anyone who cancels their Neuroscience 2021 registration will not have access to virtual Neuroscience 2021 and, if an abstract was submitted, will not be able to present their poster.

Refunds will not be issued for incorrect registration categories. If you choose to register under another category before membership verification, the difference will not be refunded to you. No exceptions. If you are uncertain about your membership status, contact membership@sfn.org.

For additional information, contact SfN at sfnregistration@xpressreg.net or (508) 743-8563.

Note: If you are scheduled to present an abstract at the annual meeting virtually, please note that cancelling your registration does NOT cancel your abstract presentation. Visit www.sfn.org/cfa for details on withdrawing your abstract.

Substitutions

It is permitted for a meeting registrant to have a substitute. If the substitute's registration fee is less than the original registrant's, the difference will be refunded. If the substitute's registration fee is more, the registration will be held until the balance is paid and the original registrant submits the substitute's contact information with written request for substitution.

Deadline for substitution requests: Monday, October 25. Refunds will not be issued for no-shows.

Send requests to: sfnregistration@xpressreg.net
