Members in Developing Countries

SfN encourages residents of developing countries to join the organization with reduced membership rates.

Securing Sponsorship

Applicants in countries with low membership who are unable to find a sponsor may have their application reviewed by members of the SfN Global Membership Committee. Please contact membership@sfn.org to make this request.

Eligible Developing Countries

Eligibility for reduced SfN dues follows World Bank country classifications. The list of eligible countries is updated annually, prior to billing for the upcoming year's dues.

Reductions and categories are based on a member's work and residence addresses. Members who work or reside outside of these geographic locations pay full membership dues.

Please note that these country listings are based on the World Bank Classifications for its 2024 fiscal year.
