White House and Scientific Societies Issue Letters on Global Research

Recently, the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) organized and released a letter concerning internationally collaborative science and the competing interests of protecting economic and national security. SfN joined the letter along with over 50 other scientific societies. Subsequently, the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy issued its own letter to the United States research community addressing the same topic. SfN and its partner societies will continue to monitor the issue as it develops.
