Society for Neuroscience Announces its Support for the March for Science
WASHINGTON, DC — The Society for Neuroscience (SfN) has signed on as an official partner of the upcoming March for Science, a nonpartisan series of activities that promote science education and the use of scientific evidence to inform policy.
The March for Science will take place Saturday, April 14, in Washington, D.C., with satellite marches planned in other cities.
SfN’s backing for the March for Science is based on the shared recognition that scientific discovery and crucial global research collaborations accelerate scientific progress. The March’s mission strongly aligns with and reinforces SfN’s core values of scientific integrity, the free and open exchange of science, and diversity and inclusion.
The Society looks forward to supporting a positive event that everyone, including both scientists and non-scientists can fully engage in and enjoy.
The Society for Neuroscience (SfN) is an organization of nearly 37,000 basic scientists and clinicians who study the brain and nervous system.
