Plan for Washington, DC
May 08, 2017
Thank you to all SfN members who submitted an abstract for Neuroscience 2017! Abstracts were received from thousands of members from all over the world. First/presenting authors of abstracts will be emailed in late-June regarding their abstract’s acceptance status.
Until then, there are several things that can be done to prepare for the annual meeting.
- Review registration information. Remember, payment of the $135 abstract handling fee does not include registration for the annual meeting. Abstract presenters must register in order to present at the annual meeting.
- Request a visa letter of invitation. If you will be traveling to Neuroscience 2017 from outside the United States, review visa information and start gathering required travel documents.
- Apply for a Trainee Professional Development Award. Undergraduate, graduate, and postdoc abstract submitters are eligible to win a Trainee Professional Development Award. Awards in the amount of $1,000 each are given to recipients based at institutions within North America, and $2,000 for recipients based at international institutions. Deadline: June 4.
- Participate in a brief, abstract submission survey. SfN would appreciate your feedback on the abstract submission process. Click here to complete a four-question survey.
