Have a Voice in Your Professional Society
Become more active in the Society by nominating yourself or a colleague for an SfN leadership position. By contributing to the Society’s mission and goals, you can influence the future of the organization and the field of neuroscience. Nominees for officer, councilor, and committee positions must be current regular members, including those with emeritus or postdoctoral status.
Officer and Councilor Nominations: Positions that are up for election this year include president-elect, treasurer-elect, secretary-elect, and two councilors.
Committee Member Nominations: You may submit nominations to serve on committees through the Nominations for SfN Committee Replacements webpage. Along with name and recommended committee, the online submission form will also request a 100-word maximum narrative of why the nominee should be considered.
Nominations will be accepted until noon EST on Friday, March 18.
