Society for Neuroscience Recognizes Abcam as Neuroscience 2022 Sponsor of the Day, Host of “Better Together: An Evening of Science and Storytelling”
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Society for Neuroscience (SfN) is pleased to recognize Abcam as the Sponsor of the Day for the second day of Neuroscience 2022, Sunday, November 13, 2022.
“SfN is grateful for Abcam’s support as a Platinum sponsor of Neuroscience 2022 and for serving as a Sponsor of the Day,” said SfN President Gina Turrigiano. “We appreciate Abcam’s support towards our first in-person annual meeting in three years.”
Taking place November 12–16 in San Diego, Neuroscience 2022 showcases cutting-edge science from all corners of the vibrant and diverse neuroscience field, with over 20,000 attendees, 12,000+ presentations, and more than 400 exhibits. Abcam will be recognized throughout the day on Sunday, November 13, including at the day’s plenary Presidential Special Lecture. As a Platinum sponsor, Abcam’s support is also recognized before, throughout, and after Neuroscience 2022.
Abcam believes the scientific community goes further, faster when we go there together. As a satellite event alongside Neuroscience 2022, Abcam will host “Better Together” – an evening filled with immersive stories about scientists, chance meetings, unlikely teams, voicemails, a fight for open data, and more. “Better Together” will be held on Sunday, November 13 at 7 p.m. at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina’s Pacific Ballroom, next to the Convention Center and is free to attend. Registration is available online.
“Abcam and Pop-Up Magazine have created a unique evening of science and storytelling especially for SfN,” said Ally Hughes, senior director of strategy – neuroscience at Abcam. “SfN’s annual meeting is one of the most exciting events of the year for neuroscientists and we are delighted to engage with the people that will make tomorrow’s breakthroughs.”
With four levels of support available, SfN’s annual meeting sponsorship program allows organizations in the neuroscience and biomedical field to increase their engagement and share information and resources with the worldwide neuroscience community. Ten sponsors are supporting Neuroscience 2022 at various sponsorship levels, and over 20 additional organizations are supporting individual lectures, events, and awards.
